La blogger italiana Valentina Ferragni conoció varios lugares turísticos de Guatemala, a través de sus redes sociales compartió algunas fotografías, las cuales resaltan la belleza de nuestro país.

Valentina Ferragni visitó varios lugares turísticos de Guatemala, como el Arco de Santa Catalina, Antigua Guatemala; en Santa Catarina Palopó y el Lago Atitlán, departamento de Sololá.

Yesterday we visited the Jabal Tinamit Spanish School in Panajachel (Lake Atitlan, Guatemala) and we met Candelaria & Gregorio, the owners of the school. This school is in a rural area where there is no opportunity of education and work, where women don’t have a voice and most of them are forced not to study but to get married at early age (14/16 years old). Here they empower them to dream big, to be whatever they wanna be and not to follow the rules imposed by their old habits. Through technology they can tell the world that they are valuable and they can change their life with education, independence and confidence. When we went out to the school there was this phrase that resume everything: » The most terrible of feelings, is the feeling of having lost hope». También compartió con las alumnas de la Escuela Nukunem en Panajachel, cerca del Lago Atitlán. «Me impresionó la frase que había en la escuela: «lo más terrible de los sentimientos, es la sensación de haber perdido la esperanza»», expresó.

Durante cinco días Valentina Ferragni exploró la gastronomía, hotelería y la importancia de proyectos altruistas en Guatemala, esto como parte del proyecto de la joyería Alessa Designs, la cual busca promover los encantadores sitios turísticos de Guatemala.

Valentina Ferragni quedó encantada con el proyecto Pintando Santa Catarina Palopó, donde junto a varios pobladores pintó una de las escaleras de las calles principales del municipio.
