Gaby Moreno y Hugh Laurie —también conocido como Dr. House—, se presentaron en los escenarios de Estados Unidos y Europa en 2013. Moreno participó siendo la voz de tres piezas musicales y en compañía del actor y compositor inglés.

En 2013, el actor de Dr. House —Hugh Laurie—, grabó su segundo disco de estudio Didn’t it Rain el cual se lanzó el 6 de mayo de 2013. El álbum está inspirado en suaves e imponentes sonidos del blues, el jazz, el R&B y el tango. Sin embargo, él no es la voz principal en sus canciones. Por el contrario, intercala el piano y comparte el protagonismo con otros cantantes invitados, entre ellos estuvo Gaby Moreno. De esa manera, para hacer de este álbum un lanzamiento especial se estableció una gira promocional que comenzó en Reino Unido y otros países de Europa.

La cantante guatemalteca fue invitada a participar, siendo una de las voces principales en tres canciones: Kiss of Fire —un tango adaptado que en Latinoamérica es conocido como «El choclo»—, The Weed Smoker’s Dream y Didn’t it rain? En algunas de las presentaciones, la parte instrumental del tango tuvo como foco principal a Laurie y Moreno bailando. Según el actor, se trató de una experiencia divertida, dado que tuvieron que aprender rápidamente al tener las fechas próximas.
